The teacher education, administration licensure, principal licensure, and endorsement programs at the School of Education & Human Development do not meet educational requirements for licensure in states other than Colorado. The Clinical Health Psychology PhD mission is to train Scientist-Practitioners who receive a generalist-training in clinical psychology, and who acquire additional knowledge and skill in health psychology and behavioral medicine.
The Clinical Health Psychology PhD program at the University is an APA-accredited program that is compliant with national standards to prepare students to practice clinical psychology. However, the practice of psychology is regulated at the state level. State licensing authorities determine specific educational and training requirements for licensure in their state. Of note, most States require post-doctoral training as well as examinations beyond pre-doctoral educational and training requirements. As such, a PhD degree in Clinical Psychology is not sufficient, in and of itself, to meet licensure requirements in most states. However, our program does meet the pre-doctoral training requirements for most states as indicated below. The Master of Urban and Regional Planning Program at the University has evolved to become one of the strongest planning programs in the United States. We offer a hands-on, real-world oriented program that uses Colorado as our classroom and engages students with top planning/design professionals and the community.

The Master of Architecture at CU Denver prepares students for entry into the architecture profession and licensure. Our mission is to lead in the discovery, communication and application of knowledge in the discipline of architecture by integrating theory and practice.
