Testimonial

Overview

A Testimonial component showcases authentic feedback to build trust and credibility. It’s best used on landing pages, program pages, or near calls-to-action to reinforce confidence and drive conversions. Effective Testimonial are specific, visually clear, and include real names or roles for authenticity.

When to Use

  • To add social proof and human appeal to a page.
  • To improve the marketing impact of a page with evidence of impact and ROI. 

How To

Important Note: This component pulls information from the Content Type: Testimonials. You must create the individual Testimonial first before it can be added to the page.

Add a Testimonial on a Page

  1. Create the individual Testimonial as a Testimonial content type.
  2. Navigate to the page you’d like to update, and enter the Edit Mode for the page.
  3. Choose the Section you would like to add the block, click the plus (+) icon.
  4. Select the Testimonial component from the component list.
  5. Select the Testimonials to showcase by typing the Testimonial Title—usually the person’s name—in the field to select their Testimonial.
    1. Each field only accepts one Testimonial.
    2. This component only allows for five Testimonials max.
  6. Once all Testimonials are selected, click Save.

User Experience Best Practices

  • Use authentic, specific quotes (avoid generic praise like “It was great!”).
  • Include real names, photos, and roles for credibility.
  • Keep Testimonials concise and easy to scan for better readability.
