Overview

An RSS Feed is a content type that works with the News and Event Feeds components to pull in content from external sources.

Important Note: This content must be created before being added as a Content Type: News and Event Feeds. You must create the individual RSS feed first before it can be added to a page.

Create RSS Feed Content

  1. Login to the Drupal dashboard.
  2. Click Add Content and select RSS Feed.

  1. Enter the Title: this is for identification purposes.
  2. Enter the RSS Feed URL you wish to display in the URL feed.
    1. This should be a direct link to the RSS XML output.

Add RSS Feed to a Page

After a RSS Feed is created, it can be added to a page with the news feed and event feed components. To learn how to use the components, visit the news and event feed tutorial pages.
