Testimonials

Intro

A testimonial component showcases authentic feedback to build trust and credibility. It’s best used on landing pages, program pages, or near calls-to-action to reinforce confidence and drive conversions. Effective testimonials are specific, visually clear, and include real names or roles for authenticity.

How To

Create a Testimonial

  1. Login to the Drupal dashboard.
  2. Click Add Content and select Testimonial.

Add Content

  1. Title: this is the name that will display in the Drupal dashboard. This is not visible to website visitors.
  2. Image: this is for the image for the person. This is preferably a professional headshot/selfie with a closeup of their face.
    1. The image should be in a 1:1 ratio (800px width X 800px height).
  3. Testimonial: enter the body of the testimonial
  4. Name: this is the where to enter the name of the person who provided the testimonial
  5. Title: this is where to enter the degree and graduation year for students or position for faculty/staff.

Add Link (Optional)

  1. URL: Start typing the title of the piece of content to select it. You can also enter the internal path like “/contact” or an external URL such as “https://www.ucdenver.edu”.
    1. Be sure to change the attributes option to “open in new window” if it is linking to an external site.
  2. Link text: the text that displays as a link

Add Description

  1. Description: this is for internal purposes only and used to describe the testimonial.

Save the Testimonial for Reference

Once all information is entered, click ‘Save’ at the top of the page.

Add Testimonial to a Page

After a testimonial is created, it can be added to a page through the testimonial component. To learn how to use the component, visit the Testimonial Component tutorial page.
