Consortium Agreements
General Information:
A Consortium Agreement is a written plan between two schools to combine enrollment to maximize federal aid. Students may attend courses at another institution (Host school) while receiving financial aid at CU Denver (Home school) . There are basic eligibility requirements to qualify, and courses taken at other institutions must be approved for transfer to CU Denver. Consortium agreements must be completed each semester (if applicable).
Eligibility:
- Be enrolled in a degree program at CU Denver.
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
- Take courses at the Host School which are transferable to his/her CU Denver degree, as certified by the CU Denver Registrar’s Office.
- File a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and complete the required financial aid process prior to all applicable deadlines.
Impact to Aid: Consortium agreements impact your Financial Aid Cost of Attendance and the amount of aid you can receive. Using a consortium agreement, CU Denver must take into consideration the cost of attendance elements from the Host school.

How to apply:
Contact the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office to evaluate your eligibility and aid impact by doing a consortium. If eligible, you will be asked to complete a Consortium Agreement form for processing.
