Admitted and Incoming Students
After You Accept Your Offer
Once you accept your offer of admission, it can take up to 24 hours for your record to load into our system. Your next step is to create a new student account and enroll for classes, unless your program or school or college requires an additional step, such as speaking with an advisor.
Incoming Students
As an incoming student, you have so much to look forward to. Your program or school/college will have new student orientation events to provide you with important details regarding your program’s requirements, resources, and community.
Some of the most important tools and resources are:
- UCD Access Portal: Use this site to register for classes, pay bills, apply for graduation, view unofficial transcripts, accept financial aid awards, apply for scholarships, and more.
- Your CU Denver email address: This is the official means of communication at CU Denver.
- Your personal identity information: You can update your name, pronouns, and contact information here.

Additionally, your program or school or college may offer events, such as in-person or virtual meet-and-greets or “admit days” to help you learn more about the experience of being a student at CU Denver and make an informed decision.
We hope you pick CU Denver, but if you don’t, please let us know your decision by completing the link in your decision letter, or letting your program know by email.
