At CU Denver, graduate admissions involve a variety of different offices and teams. Our central units—which are the Office of Admissions, Graduate Recruitment, and International Admissions—work together as the operational backbone for campus-wide graduate admissions processes and recruitment activities. These teams partner closely with our seven schools and colleges to facilitate a smooth admission experience from application to enrollment.

Depending on the nature of your question, you may need to contact one of our central teams or your school or college directly. Review the details of each office below to determine which one to contact. Please refrain from contacting multiple offices as this will delay our response time. 

Admissions Contacts

    • Oversees the online application system.
    • Processes school or college applications, collects official documents of incoming graduate students, and verifies that university-wide admission requirements have been met for degree and non-degree programs in the College of Arts & Media (CAM, MS in Recording Arts only), the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS), and the School of Public Affairs (SPA).
    • Supports prospective students who have general inquiries about graduate studies.
    • Assists schools and colleges with recruitment activities and strategies.
    • Leads and participates in various in-person and virtual recruitment and yield (post-admission, pre-enrollment) events for the graduate population.

    • Provides in-house credential evaluations for applicants with credentials from foreign institutions.
    • Receives External Credential Evaluation (ECE) and World Education Services (WES) materials from students who elect to have these third-party providers validate their credentials.
    • Reviews and approves proof of English Language Proficiency (ELP).
    • Offers various recruitment activities virtually and around the world.
    • Offers admitted student webinars for international admitted students.
