About Us

Sarah Buller, Assistant Vice Chancellor, Organizational Effectiveness and Strategic Impact

Prior to transitioning to higher education, Sarah worked in integrated healthcare systems as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Since joining the CU Denver community in 2019, Sarah has partnered with leaders and teams across the institution providing facilitation, team and individual leadership coaching, led continuous improvement efforts and strategic projects. With an energetic young son and cuddly cat, her life is full of cuddles, laughter, and lively road trips to visit friends and family.

Amy McGuire, Director of Strategic Projects

Since joining CU Denver in 2022, Amy has led the Office of Strategic Impact (formerly the Strategic Plan Team) to advance strategic initiatives across the CU Denver campus. As a PMP and Prosci Change Management Practitioner, she draws on experience in higher education, K-12 education, and nonprofit leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Elizabeth Marsh, Campus Engagement and Change Management Specialist

Liz serves as the Campus Engagement and Change Management Specialist in the Office of Strategic Impact. Drawing on 15 years of experience in various roles at CU Denver, Liz is passionate about ensuring diverse voices are heard throughout periods of transition. Outside of work, she enjoys live music, traveling, and riding bikes with her partner and daughter.

Paul Suazo, Principal Strategic Data and Business Analyst

With two decades of experience in the higher education, nonprofit, and entrepreneurship sectors in both the US and UK, Paul is passionate about building opportunity for others. His strength lies in leveraging data to bridge strategic objectives and operational execution. His personal interests are far too numerous to list here.

Nishan Bandaranayake, Project Manager

Nishan leads enterprise initiatives at CU Denver, managing projects and change to turn strategic priorities into measurable impact. He brings more than a decade of Australian higher education experience across enterprise strategy, analytics, student recruitment, marketing, and digital innovation. Outside work, he enjoys exploring Colorado with his family, gaming, and history.

Jessica Fagioli, Project Manager

Jessica Fagioli, PMP, joined CU Denver’s Office of Strategic Impact as a Project Manager in January 2026. Before joining CU Denver, she spent more than a decade supporting nonprofit organizations through operations and project management. She is passionate about community, accessibility, and inclusive design. 

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys testing new recipes, reading contemporary novels, and solving mysteries.

Chelsea Campbell, Project Manager

Chelsea is a professional project manager with over 15 years of experience in higher education. Her faculty experience brings a valuable perspective to administration as she continues to build successful pathways for students. In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys traveling, city hiking and learning.
