CROSS-CAMPUS PERSPECTIVE
Because we work across schools, colleges, divisions, and initiatives, we bring a campus-wide perspective to our work. We help leaders identify interdependencies, connect related efforts, reduce silos, and anticipate challenges before they become barriers. As a result, we are often able to help leaders navigate complex initiatives where priorities, stakeholders, and pathways forward are still emerging.

A note about our role: We focus on strategic, project-based, and change-related work that advances institutional priorities. While we may provide logistical support as part of a broader engagement, we do not typically provide routine administrative support, scheduling services, event planning, or long-term operational ownership of initiatives.
HOW WE PRIORITIZE OUR WORK
The Office of Strategic Impact is a shared institutional resource focused on advancing CU Denver’s highest priorities. To ensure our time and expertise have the greatest impact, we consider each request based on:
- Strategic alignment. We prioritize work that advances the university’s strategic priorities, institutional goals, or leadership-identified initiatives.
- Leadership alignment. Requests are reviewed with university leadership, as appropriate, to confirm that Strategic Impact is the right partner and that team resources should be allocated to the work.
- Team capacity. We consider our current commitments and available capacity to determine when and how we can best support a project.
